Voices is the creation of Jennifer and Saronai and is named after the original character journal created by their hostess, domynoe.
The ring's earliest conception began when Jennifer found an exercise created by Saronai on the forums for Dreaming in Ink Writers Group, a writing community both were active members of. The excercise was to write a journal entry from your character's point of view. She later found a webring that she thought focused on character journals but it turned out to be for roleplayers only.
Jennifer then felt inspired to create her own character journal, and a webring for character journals. So, with a little nudge from domynoe, she contacted Saronai about collaborating for this webring. As it turned out, Saronai was a member of the other ring, and missed the character collaboration topics that the ring mistress had stopped posting for the rpg ring. And thus, the voices webring was born.
Sadly, a lack of time saw us bidding adieu to Jennifer, wishing her the best in her future writings. Saronai will try her best to keep the ring going with Domynoe's continued assistance.
